Get to Know Us – The Story Behind Open Road
We are a couple and our little daugher from Kerala who came to Jaisalmer as curious travelers — just like you. What was meant to be a short trip turned into something much bigger. We instantly fell in love with this city — its golden sunsets, ancient streets, the warmth of the people, and the endless desert beyond. Jaisalmer captured our hearts, and we knew we had to stay.
That’s how Open Road Hostel & Cafe was born — a space for travelers, backpackers, and explorers to feel at home, connect, and share stories. A year later, we followed our dream even further and opened Open Road Boutique Hotel inside the majestic Jaisalmer Fort — blending comfort, heritage, and history in one of the world’s most unique locations.
Over time, we also created Open Road Adventures, designing non-touristic desert safaris and local experiences that help you discover the real Jaisalmer — beyond the guidebooks and crowds.
We built everything with love, honesty, and the belief that travel should be about connection — with people, places, and stories.
We came here as tourists. Today, this city is home. We can’t wait to share it with you.
